21st Annual Christmas Tea at Home in Rancho Santa Fe

The Rancho Santa Fe Library would like to invite you to a favorite celebration of the season with their 21st annual Christmas Tea on Friday, Dec. 9, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each year, businesses and individuals who live in Rancho Santa Fe decorate beautiful trees and wreaths to donate to the library raffle at this delightful event. If you’d like to create your own design to dress up a table top tree, wreath or menorah, you are welcome to donate your creation, helping to make the event a success as always. Please deliver your donations by Wednesday, Dec. 7, to the library, near your Rancho Santa Fe home.

Patrons of the library will enjoy viewing each unique holiday piece prior to the event. It’s so much fun to participate in this festive activity; whether you donate a decorated tree or buy a raffle ticket to win one, you’ll enjoy celebrating the holidays while supporting the library! The Christmas Tea is free of charge and open to the entire community. Cookbook Celebrates Rancho Santa Fe Home Town Market

This Sunday, Nov. 20th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Chino Farm in Rancho Santa Fe will host a book signing with Nancy Silverton, author of “The Mozza Cookbook.” This is the first time the Chino Farm has hosted a public event of this sort, near your Rancho Santa Fe home. Chef Nancy Silverton, founder of La Brea Bakery and owner of two of the most popularly lauded and acclaimed restaurants in California, will be present to sign copies of “The Mozza Cookbook,” written with San Diego native Carolynn Carreño, and widely applauded and praised. Luau Near Your Rancho Santa Fe Home

On Friday, November 4th at 7 p.m., you can join the Walking on Water Ministry to celebrate 16 years with its Annual Fundraiser Luau, near your Rancho Santa Fe Home. The Annual Luau is an exciting free Hawaiian party that will be held at Horizon North County Church, located at 6365 El Apajo Road. If you live in Rancho Santa Fe, you won’t want to miss the fun including live music, delicious Hawaiian food, raffle prizes and a message from Bryan Jennings, founder of Walking on Water. Some special guest appearances will also be announced soon.

Having Fun With Young Kids at Home in Rancho Santa Fe

Are you a Mom looking for a way to keep your toddler (and your mind) active?  Did you know that Rancho Santa Fe has a Mom and Tots Club?  That’s right!   Play dates are right around the corner from your Rancho Santa Fe home! The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center offers opportunities to get connected with pre-arranged play dates at nearby locations and within the Rancho Santa Fe homes of other moms and tots. You’ll enjoy the seasonal activities that are planned this fall and winter.

Nicole Mikels chairs these events and and the cost to attend is $75 per family per year.  Families must be registered with the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center.  Playdates are arranged for every Wednesday, at 10 a.m. and are geared for newborn and preschool-aged families.  Moms Night Out activities are held year-round, as well and you will get email messages with exclusive invitations, classifieds and other events.  Click here to find out more.

Classes Begin Soon Near Your Rancho Santa Fe Home

If you live in Rancho Santa Fe and have children who need something to do, the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center may have the answer for you! You can get your children involved in their community by taking the classes and activities provided by the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center, but now is the time to act.  Session 2 classes begin on November 7th, giving you less than a week to register!  Your family can enjoy a host of activities and after school opportunities for fun at the community center, near your Rancho Santa Fe home.
