Rancho Santa Fe’s Favorite Park, San Dieguito Park

In addition to being one of the best locations to own a home,  Coastal North County San Diego, in between Rancho Santa Fe Covenant and Solana Beach, harbors a wonderful piece of real estate for recreation as well:  San Dieguito Park. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, located just off of Lomas Santa Fe Drive across from the golf course, is a gem of a park where visitors can relax and enjoy a gorgeous San Diego day and have a picnic for family or even for the entire company, use the basketball courts, baseball field or playgrounds, hike the trails or just laze about on the acres of grass and enjoy the sunshine and tranquility. There are permit fees for larger groups who wish to rent out space for an event, but general use is free to the public.

In this age where technology is so pervasive in our everyday lives, most people can’t escape their computer or cell phone.  Having open spaces right in the community where families can get together and enjoy the simple things and a safe place for children to play makes a visit to San Dieguito Park a great way to spend an afternoon.
